Mirologia, The Funeral Song, in Concert

I am besides myself to share that there will be a (free) performance of the storied mirologia, also known as the funeral song in Greece in New York City on March 12th presented by Carnegie Hall and the Onassis Cultural Center NYC. Besides the rare opportunity to hear an ancient art of lamentation that continues to be practiced today, the mirologia and regions of Mani and Epirus are a main theme and settings for my (on the market for an agent) novel, Memories of Myrrh.  Below is more information on the event, “Mirologia, The Words of Destiny” (click for more info).

On a sad update- they sold out before I could reserve tickets. Still worth noting the event is happening!
